COVID-19: Mental Health and Academic Performance Among University Students

Different personality and mental health status may contribute differently to academic outcome. Hence, the main motivation of this study is access association on performances in distance learning. This research applied a quantitative method, using survey-based questionnaires, namely Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI) for traits 12-Item General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) status. A total 140 Undergraduates from all faculties University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) were picked demographic profile was analysed through descriptive correlational analysis both Pearson Spearman correlation tests. The results showed significant relationship between Undergraduate students’ performance GPA. Specifically, loss confidence factor only that demonstrated significantly negative, but weak with their rest hypotheses dismissed. according findings research, it can be concluded higher score status, tendency students experience negative illness. Consequently, affecting performances.
